Ann Raskauskas has been a prominent realtor and civic leader in the Bethany Beach area for more than two decades. Her ties to the region actually dates to her family's extensive development business beginning in the 1960s, when it developed such communities as Bethany West, Villas of Bethany West, Lake Bethany and West View.

Ann enjoyed spending every summer in Bethany Beach. She knows "the quiet resort" and surrounding areas well, and relocated there full-time in the early 1990s to pursue her professional career in real estate.  Her focus has included: lot & home sales; vacation & year round rentals; property management; new community marketing/development & sales, and building "spec" homes.

Ann is widely recognized for her strong commitment to the community, and she is very involved in a number of local, regional, national and international charities. She is a founding organizer and sponsor of the annual Bethany Beach Breast Cancer 5K Fun Run & 3K Fun Walk held every Mother's Day weekend, and has participated in several three-day, 60-mile walks to help raise funds for breast cancer research.  She is also the coordinator for the local Little Pink Houses of Hope, an organization that provides a week-long vacation for breast cancer patients and their families.  This opportunity gives them a chance to relax, reconnect and rejuvenate during their cancer journey. In addition to the breast cancer organizations, Ann also organizes monthly food drives on an ongoing basis for local families in need.

Ann has also continued her families work by supporting the Constantinis Raskauskas Children's Center, a center for children at risk in Sateikiai, Lithuania.  This Center was built and maintained by her family.  She is also involved with a similar center for children in Vilnius, Lithuania.
