Bethany Beach

Bethany Beach is a part of the “Quiet Resorts”, a seven mile stretch of sandy beaches which includes Bethany, North Bethany, South Bethany and Fenwick Island.   The famous totem pole is located at the entrance of our town. Bethany Beach offers many recreational opportunities, swimming, surfing, fishing, surfing, kayaking and paddle boarding – with the water staying warm enough so that you can swim May to early October.  On the bayside of Bethany Beach, you may enjoy sailing, windsurfing, jet skis, fishing, crabbing, water skiing and boating.

The evenings are enjoyable as you walk through the town and meet up with neighbors and friends.  The town offers something for everyone -- restaurants, shops, ice cream stands, playground and park – or you can stroll along the boardwalk.  During the summer months you can take in various entertainers at the bandstand or enjoy a bonfire or movie on the beach. No matter what your age or your interest, you will find something in the town of Bethany Beach.
